In 1919, the Saalfeld Paper Company was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, by the Saalfeld family. By 1981, we had shifted our focus and began concentrating heavily on redistribution. After being purchased by International Paper in 1988, we became Saalfeld Redistribution and devoted our energies exclusively to supplying and supporting independent distributors nationwide.

With our small company roots, substantial buying power and locally focused support, today’s Saalfeld is one of the largest redistributors in the nation. Always with an eye on growth and development, we currently operate 9 regional hubs across the country, with a team of 300 employees strong, supported by a dedicated outside sales force of more than 65 sales professionals.
