SAALFELD ADDS TO TOP MANAGEMENT, SALES TEAM

Saalfeld Redistribution has added five members to its top team in recent months, bringing new talent to sales, marketing, business development, e-commerce and finance. Collectively, the expanded team builds on the robust offering of products, services and capabilities available to Saalfeld customers across the U.S.
The new appointments are:
• John Siegel, director of marketing
• Kevin Isom, director of business development
• Ben Martinez, director of finance
• Deanna Taylor, national eBusiness manager
• Jennifer Easton, National Accounts sales manager
John Siegel is director of marketing for Saalfeld. He is responsible for developing marketing strategies and programs and implementing major marketing initiatives. Siegel also manages Saalfeld supplier relationships, leads the Saalfeld Marketing Council and is a member of the Saalfeld Lead Team.
Prior to joining Saalfeld, Siegel was the senior regional sales manager at the Dixie Foodservice Division of Georgia-Pacific Corp., where he was responsible for three major redistributors. In his 20 years with Georgia Pacific, he held various positions in sales, sales management and business consulting. Siegel reports to Carol Butler, vice president and general manager of Saalfeld.
Kevin Isom has been named director of business development for Saalfeld. In this role, Isom helps develop, implement and drive business development within Saalfeld with a focus on key initiatives, marketing programs, sales growth and product alignment. He works closely with business leaders in each market.
Isom worked for Bunzl for 18 years, most recently serving as vice president of sales and operations. Based in Olathe, KS, Isom’s focus is primarily the Western U.S. Region including Denver, Houston/Dallas, Phoenix, Kansas City and Northern and Southern California. He reports to Butler and is a member of the Saalfeld Lead Team and Saalfeld Marketing Council.
Ben Martinez has been named director of finance. He leads the strategic, capital, budget and financial planning processes for Saalfeld. Martinez also provides on-going financial management for the national business. He is a member of the Saalfeld Lead Team.
Prior to joining Saalfeld, Martinez was manager and business development analyst at xpedx headquarters in Loveland, Ohio. Before that, he served as chief financial officer at a civil engineering firm. Martinez reports to Butler.
Deanna Taylor is named Saalfeld’s national eBusiness manager. She is responsible for developing eBusiness strategies and programs and the successful implementation of eBusiness initiatives.
Before assuming her new post, Taylor led eBusiness for National Account customers. She has been with xpedx for nine years and brings a strong background in business operations and the delivery of innovative solutions to customers. Taylor is a member of the Saalfeld Lead Team and reports to Dave Wallace, xpedx director of Customer Service and eBusiness.
Jennifer Easton joins the Saalfeld National Accounts team as sales manager for facility solutions and redistribution. Prior to her current role, Jennifer was a sales manager for the Hebron, KY division. She will oversee the National Accounts business within the segment and will work to develop new growth opportunities. Jennifer is also a member of the Saalfeld Marketing Council.
In her new National Accounts post, Easton will report to Facility Supplies director of National Accounts Scott Pottle.
